So far, from the CFEO office, we have assisted over a thousand ex-offenders and family members and friends with problems pertaining to resettlement in the community.

For example we frequently signpost ex-offenders without accommodation to organisations providing housing and assist those who struggle with addiction problems to find rehabilitation. Recently we have helped an ex-offender trying to find employment by offering advice on applying for a job with a criminal record, a mother whose son was about to be released who has mental health problems, and a church who has someone attending who has been convicted of a sex-offence and needed some advice on his relationship with the church community.
